Combat Kukri Seminar by Dr. Maung Gyi - August 28, 1999

Dr. Maung Gyi, head of the American Bando Association, is a vetaran of WWII and the Korean conflict. He is a member of the 10th Burma Gurka regiment and later with the 3/9 GR of the 111 Chindit Brigade during WWII. He is truly a living legend, and is "the only man Guru Dan Inosanto admired more than Bruce Lee."

Dr. Gyi will be conducting a Kukri Seminar on Saturday August 28, 1999 at the West Coast Academy in Fountain Valley, CA. He will be focusing on cutting technique, so be prepared to be cutting and chopping through various targets all day! The seminar will start at 0900 and end at 1700 with an hour lunch break.

Just wanted to say thanks to all those who have registered. As of two weeks ago, we have closed off all registrations as we were out of space and out of khukuris for everyone. For all those registered, I look forward to seeing you guys there.
