Combat Master sheath by Spec-Ops (short)

Howdy all,

Newby Question... I am looking at getting a Busse or Swamp Rat. I have a Spec-Ops Combat Master sheath (short up to 6" blades). I am wondering what is the largest Busse I can get to fit in this sheath. What blades do you guys have in this sheath?

I would say a BATAC, I think a SJTAC may be a bit too long (Of course I could be wrong).

Edit: Well there you go, I was wrong :P
 
uhh.... from the handle it is about 5 and 1/4" the actual blade is only about 4 and 1/2" though... measuring mine
 
BATAC is 5 3/8 " and easily fits the SO/CM short sheath. My SJTAC at 6 3/8 " also fits but I remove the bottom bolt to avoid contact w/ the blade's tip. Pete
 
Here's a BATAC LE and a CG with magnum handles:

They both fit well (as do all the other BATACs I've tried).

Thanks for the great pics!!! I wanted to make sure the LE fit. What do you keep in the outside pocket?

You can always call and get a larger insert to fit a slightly larger knife .Just trim to length boil insert form to knife and you are good to go. I always put a little clear tubing on lower screw .
