Just read in "Human Events.com". This has been discussed from time to time and it is more then I've ever seen in writing. If this is post is offensive or out of place please delete it as I submit this in all respect to the forum and Aunt Yanadgu.

Welcome Greg!,

No problem discussing this subject at all, but we must do it in the Cantina.
You might want to include a link to the article in question and include your ideas on it.

At one point I saw a vertical, 3 images describing how troops removed sentries in WW2, the first two with the typical grab and stab at artery under the collarbone, with the second one using the American knife to rip upwards after, and the third was a comical rendition of a Gurkha simply swiping the head off a wehrmacht soldier from behind. :D

I always think of the khukri as a tool first, but there's no doubt that a knife designed to provide the same kind of force as an axe, but is kitchen-sharp to boot, is potentially an advantageous weapon.
