Hello all, I'm in the market again looking for a high - end Combat / Utility Fixed Blade.
Budget is $400 tops.
I was originally set on the Chris Reeve Green Beret, but watched and read some disheartening reviews on it's overall performance, and ability to stand up to abuse.
I'm looking for a knife that weighs lighter and has a thiner spine than the ESEE-5. Basically not so much of a tank. Although that's not a bad thing of course. Just looking for something lighter, but can also take as much abuse.
The knife ;
Hope I can find something that'll fail to disappoint and instead amazes me.

- Must be 4 ~ 9" In Length.
- Must weigh 10 ~ 15 Ounces.
- Must have a black blade finish. I.E. Black Powder Coating / Benchmade's BK1
- Have media / reviews backing it's awesomeness.
Hope I can find something that'll fail to disappoint and instead amazes me.
