This knife is a knife that should handle rough time. The blade is Mora's 4 5/8" and the handle is Pakka Wood cammo pattern. Closest to the blade is 2 mm brass as well as in the end of the handle.

The sheath is made from "Shaft" leather and colored in cammo. Since I joined the Swedish Army National Guard, I thougt that i needed a knife to ware on the Battle Gear, and this is the one. It blends in just fine with the cammo and is easy to reach and pull. The mora blade will stand for the task that are comming.

P

That is very nice Per Sima! I saw some of your other work on knifeforums too when I was lurking the toher day. I am also putting a handle on a Mora blade. They sure are good cutters, and I bet your Mora will serve you well as you serve your country. Be careful though, you may end up getting some orders from other soldiers!

Thanks for your kind words. This knife is intended for the battle gear and will probably end up doing everything from making toothpics out of matches, cutting up some food, digging in the dust to cutting wire. Thats why i chose a Mora blade, Its strong, easy to sharpen, you could use a flat stone found in the field to do that, and it is not expensive. If it breakes it is not the end of the world, this is not a knife to put in a collectors cabinet, it SHOULD be used, the tougher the better.

P
