Jerry,
Any chance you might consider making combat version of SAR4?
I love the knife, but satin blades are too precious to use...
Thanks!

I like combat versions of everything. Satin and Double cut are beautiful, I love my Orange/black G10 on Satin, but there is something about good old OD blade with Black canvas that is just ruggedly powerful. the Sar4 would be nice in CG. Also much cheaper!

The SAR4 is not a knife, it is a piece of art.

So far mine has lived on the coffee table where my non-knife friends pick it up and exclaim "oh.. my.. God!.., what do you use THIS for?!?!". :D

I can't stand the thought of using it for anything yet. I'm going to have to get another SAR4 for use on hikes and stuff. Seriously, the grind on this knife is so incredibly beautiful, they bevel is there but you cannot visually detect the transition. I have personally never seen a better grind and I'm not sure I've ever handled better steel. I am knocked out and my plan to not buy anymore knives has been destroyed. :)

I'm going to need a bigger safe. :D

i show my SAR4 LE (#44) to some of my friends who are OK with camping in general and get the idea of a good knife.
but i still have not shown anyone my Waki.

I had a sheath made for my Sar-4. I will not name the maker, but he e-mailed me more than once to confirm that the LE was a user. "He did not want to put the kydex scratches on her."

She looks better in the sheath though, scratches or not. I love that knife and it goes wherever I do.

I would also consider sending her to Randucci for the SHBA mod that he posted. That is awesome! I miss my SBBA!! I am sure that someone is showing her love though!
