Combate Elite tanto vs. SnG tanto

Well, I worked a ton of overtime this week so I need to have something motivating me to finish. Can someone who owns both or either give me the pros and cons? I've never handled a Combat Elite, the SnG was a little on the small side for my liking, but did feel very solid. (Too bad the Smf doesn't come in tanto).

How does the combat elite compare? Is it more of a gentleman's knife? both are titanium, both come in drops and tantos I believe, so someone sell me either way. :D

for the price and quality go with the combat elite alot cheaper and virtually the same actually the combatelite has two slabs of titanium as the sng has only one. i have both and they are both great knives but personally the SNG is just more hyped up save the extra 100 bucks and take ur girl to dinner and you both will come out of the situation happy trust me.. elite level one has a great fit and finish not one bit of blade play...... its my EDC

also the combat elite i own has been through more hell than the devil has seen and still looks like heaven and still stiff as an 80 year old man on viagra..... love that thing

Have a SNG and a GB, love them both. Had an SMF, and figure for the length I'd ather have an AR or GB. SMF's do come in tanto though as powells85 said.

I have a bunch of Striders and had one Combat Elite RRF. I didn't like the washers on the Combat Elite because they introduced side to side blade play where as my Striders (after they have been tuned up) are rock solid up and down and side to side. But... I did like the RRF design so I ordered a Gunhammer from Darrel Ralph and sent back the RRF. The Gunhammer should be done in a month or two and I can't wait.  :)
I also would suggest you talk to Blue Line Gear as that's where I picked up my numbered Tanto SMF. The Ti side was a little rough when I got it but it's a definate hard user and I've got no complaints on it.  Plus Ryan at BLG is a good guy to deal with.

later,

oil

Sorry, I ordered the last SmF with digital camo from Blue Line Gear today;) Great company though--top notch customer service. And being from Minnesota didn't hurt either.
