Is the plain edge part of the blade chisel ground? I know on the other combo edge Spyderco's I have the serrated and the plain edge portion are both chisel ground. I am thinking about getting one and I was curious. Thanks.
No, they are ground regularly. I have never seen a comboedge spydie that had the plain portion chisel ground, only the fully serrated version that had the last quarter of an inch or so plain and chisel ground. (Delica)
Thanks for the info. I was thinking of my Native, but that is a 65/35 combo edge so that's probably why it is only chisel ground on the plain edge portion.
