I am thinking about having a drop leg sheath made that with worth with both my TGLB and my glock 22... obviously i would want the handgun to be readily available in a strongside draw position but i'm trying to figure out if there's a way to make it comfortable with a TGLB on the same sheath such that it won't interfere with drawing my weapon.

Thoughts, designs, examples of such a thing would all be welcome. My TGLB is most comfortable worn strong side, but it interferes with my handgun when worn on my belt together.

TGLB??? What is it? Knife, Flashlight, Asthma Inhaler? I guess I'm proof that not every maker on this board tries to keep up with all the Alpha code. A photo would help us (me) help you also. Thanks.

I'm just the opposite, I have no idea what size a Glock 22 is. There's so many of them out now, not sure if its a sub compact, mid size or full size.

Knowing though that Glocks tend to be rather chunky I cant imaging how bulky a combo sheath would be. My bro inlaw has a 10mm glock and its a chunky little brick, and heavy.

Any way I can think of it, it would be rather uncomfortable. Knife in front it impedes the draw of the fire arm, knife in back and the same thing develops. Piggy back would be insanely thick.

This was originally posted in the Busse forum? Did it get moved or did you repost it here? Busse is normally good on off topic threads.

The only way I would think of combining the two would be a piggy back with the blade lower then the gun but as stated with a glock that would be one thick setup. It would look cool probably but the minute you start maneuvering in and out of a vehicle or around inside a building or where ever its gonna start catching on stuff.

The best that I have seen for a large knife was to mount the blade between the firearm and the leg. In the strong-side, drop-leg configuration, that would put the knife handle pommel about just below belt high. The G-22 is no small pistol so it might work well. I'd be interested in seeing that setup.

Just out of curiosity, What are you going to balance all that weight with on the opposite side? One or the other would need to be weak or crossdraw, I can't imagine anything comfortable coming out of piggybacking a Glock and a Gemini in a drop leg configuration. That is probably an easy 3-4 pound setup.
