In my orders received last night had my first Chairman of Board series which was a stockman. The Comfort Craft bolsters and the edges of the blade spine being radiused made a huge difference. My dymondwood stockman would eat my hand/pocket up in use.

But also got a dymondwood cadet 303 and it seems to have the same treatment as the bolsters are noticably rounder/smooth then any of the other dymondwood series I have.

are the dyomondwood versions now also getting that treatment? want to have that for all the 300s I edc now but not sure if have to stick with the Chairman series.

According to the 2010 catalog, yes the Dymondwood series will start having the ComfortCraft bolsters.

With all these various versions of 300 series coming out...they must be about to upgrade steel on some of them. I'm guessing 12C27M is most likely now that 154cm appears to be on the way to the pasture.

I have the charcoal 301 and I've been really loving it!! g

Since getting my chairmans series 301, I am convince the ComfortCraft bolsters are the best "new" thing Buck has done for the 300 series.

After weeks, I carried a regular 301 and was surprised how different the old bolsters felt in the pocket.

ComfortCraft classic black delrin someday???

This Chairman of the Board series are they done like the Signature Series ? DM

Not sure what you mean?

Here is a "Chairman" series 301, with signature on the Cherrywood scale.

I think what wingslevel was calling the "Chairman of the board" series is the same series???

hey guys, sorry for any confusion. may be using wrong terms. it is the one that is posted in the pic in cherrywood. box says "chairman series", sorry about the wrong series name. appreciate the correction, i definately need some buck educaten!

Yes, thats mine as well . It says Chairman series on the box but I called it the Signature series . Darn, can't walk and chew bubble gum either . DM

I have a factory blem 309 from the Chairman line (FB seems to be no signature on it which I prefer) and love it!

Good size for me in slacks and it carries like a much smaller knife I think since it's is the "comfort" version.
