I am looking for a soft thicker comfortable lanyard to wear my NAA mini .22 magnum or a neck knife around my neck. The dog tag style chaine is not all that comfortable with the naa mini revolver. Who makes a breakaway that is very comfortable?

I've seen some guys that take the inards out of the paracord and slide the chain through it, making it easier and more comfortable on the the neck.
But i don't believe it would be a break away.

Try this, it's at 3 minute 30 seconds into the video. Thanks BLUNTRUTH ;)

Video was very good. I wonder if someone makes a chord for this. My NAA mini revolver is a little heavier so I would need a somewhat strong yet breakaway set up. Im wearing the dog tag chain now and it sucks.

+1 works excellent good recomendation.

Here's a simple idea if your going to use paracord. Cut your cord to length and overlap the ends a little bit. Now wrap one loop around the end with thin regular sewing thread. It holds pretty good and if it snags or someone yanks on it hard, the thread will break. Just an idea.

Well, you saw how hard he was pulling it apart and it didn't break. He's got a pretty strong set of arms and he went at it pretty hard.

I think this break-away that he made was to meant to "break" if someone snatched you and you were beng strangled and reached up and beside the pressure already being applied, you grabbed and pulled it apart too. The adrenaline, fear and extra strength applied would beak the bond. It's the best thing going that I know of.

I don't wear a neck knife or mini-gun but that's what I'd make if I needed a neck lanyard.

I think we always look to a company to make something and market it to us, when the best solutions (within reason) are available to us for making and tweaking until we heve them just right for our needs. Just ask Charlie Mike. :D

All of the above are good suggestions, time to get to the store and get down to making a rig and posting pics!
