I've been a member here for almost a year and a half now and I've come to learn a great deal more about knives, people, politics, porn, what have you and I am eternally grateful to this community for this. I have come to trust you guys (and gals).

And so, with that said, I have to come out and admit, that despite the many awesome blades I've acquired, the first knife I bought online(@1SKS), still is one of my favorites. It is one of the smoothest openers I have; the liner, although thin locks up tight with no play, the desighn IMO is excellent both aestetically and ergonomically, and the blade holds an edge well and is easy to sharpen. What is this knife you ask? A UC Colt Cobra.

There, I said it. I feel as though a weight has been lifted off my shoulders! Ahh. Anyway, anyone else have a closet favorite?

I had one of the early UC Colt Police and actually liked it alot! The 440 blade held a good edge, and it was on of the most comfortable knives I had to use and carry. I still rue the day I lost it.......I know it's trendy to "knock" certain brands of knives, but ever so often they do make a good one.

And I still maintain the CRKT Mirage series was one of the best!

thanks for...uhh....coming out.....

don't tell your mama!

I have a pair of Smith & Wesson HRTDR's and I actually count them as 2 of my 2 favorite fixed-blade knives. (The Camillus CUDA CQB-1 is still my favorite.).

And if you don't like that......TOUGH!.:D.

hey....nobody's gonna argue with you, glockman....!

:p
