think they are aluminum.....Nice, hope they get nickel silver hardware.
I’ll definitely pick up a Woodsman.
My thought also!Oh no, there isn't a Buck 118 listed??????
LOL.Oh no, there isn't a Buck 118 listed??????
Based on the 105, the new micarta s35v is about 2.25 times as much as the standard 420hc phenolic knife.
This percentage works regardless of retail, or BCCI discount.
It's also about 1.7 times as much as the wood/brass it replaces.
I've field dressed many deer with a 420hc blade without having to sharpen the knife.
I agree, the new ones are cool. But I'm pretty happy with the the basic knife myself.
But then I've never used a s35v blade to process a deer either.
The s30v Alaskan Guide knives work great. I really doubt I need more than that.
I've more knives than I'll ever use as it is.
Someone will get one of these new micarta knives, take really great pics, and we'll all run out and buy 'em.
Trust me. I know how this works...I've done it many times myself. lol.
I swear Buck gives knives to folks here for that very reason.
Stay warm/safe.
Thanks.
