I'm hoping this will be considered some minor bad news leading into some EXCELLENT news!
As many of you already know, things here at Blackwood Knives have been CRAZY since the begining of the year. To make a long story short, I've gone back to working a regular job again and will not be able to deliver the Commander conversions in the timely manor that I expected to when I accepted the verbal orders for them. I have also stopped taking custom orders for fixed blades due to the time demands of my full time job. I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.
Now the EXCELLENT NEWS.......
I met with Reese Weiland at the Guild Show last weekend and he agreed to take on the Commander conversions!!
I'm sure that anyone familiar with Reese and his knives will agree that his work speeks for itself. He is a great guy, friendly to talk to and has helped many new makers here in Florida.
Reese may make some minor changes from the way I did mine but I'm sure the end results will be EXCELLENT!
