Commander karambit

I have one for the same reason but never have used it, still new in box, I don't know if I'll ever get around to using it.
 
I have both the curved Karambit and the Bullnose. I originally got the Bullnose because I didn't think I liked the curved Karambit blade. Later, when I finally broke down and bought a curved one, I realized what an absolutely devastating weapon this is!!! Now my curved one is my EDC knife, and the Bullnose just sits in the safe!

In any case, no matter what the blade design, I can't heap enough parise on the Karambit handle! With a finger in the hole, you aren't going to drop it and absolutely nobody is going to disarmed you! With the blade in the reverse position, just go into boxing mode and you are going to do major damage!
 
I had one but got shot of it, its just not as good as the regular kerambit for its intended use but it will work just fine as a utility blade if thats what you want. i would also get or make a full ring spacer for the EKIs. it makes alot of diference to how it feels in the hand. i dont know why it doesnt come with one ? just keeping cost down or something i suppose ? but its still a good kerambit either way. The "cutters knife and tool" bengal karambits are also a good choice for a folder but my regular bladed EKI gets way more pocket time.
 
I would like to see some longer blades on the straight blade Karambits, ala the Super Combat Karambit.
