well I did it... Bought my first Emerson a week or so ago, a Commander, WOW what a knife! I have a few questions though... I am not sure everything is right with this knife. It is a 2000 if that matters.
When opening the knife with my left hand the blade rubs the liner? The flat head screw on the handle becomes very lose after 30-40 openings? I have also noticed that when the blade is folded closed the liner lock does not sit flush in the handle, but sticks out a bit, is this the way it should be? when I compared it to my other liner lock blades (all benchmade) the lock sits flush inside the handle??? Othe rthan that it is a great product... I am going to order a CQ-7 and a Raven very soon...Thanks

If you send your Commander to Emerson they will fix the blade centering and locktight the pivot at no charge and VERY fast turnaround. Their customer service is superb.

Try this out..it has worked for me in sorting out the blade rubbing the liners.
