Commanders in distribution

I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean to retailers like stores in the mall? Otherwise, they've been on sale for over a year now.

They have been F/S for a year but none have been available for at least 4 months I have had a order into my distributor and recevied a call yesterday saying I will have 2 in a week.

I think Mike answered my question but let me clarify.

The Commander has been available from Emerson Knives directly and from a few dealers at full retail price or very close to that. I have not seen it available at any of the discount internet dealers. So, I was wondering when they would be getting the knives.

 
Don, I am not a dealer so I can only pass this on as 3rd person information. I have spoken to some of the dealers about this same topic. I was told that Emerson is very strict about pricing and that if a dealer tries to sell for less than the price set by Emerson, they would no longer be permitted to sell as a dealer of Emerson knives.

If I misunderstood what I have been told, someone please correct me.
 
I have spoken to Emerson knives and they said they would only sell to people with store fronts no interenet dealers could buy directly from Emerson.
