I know that there's already been a thread about this video, but I have something to show about it. For any who don't know, Nutnfancy (the famed (and to many infamous) youtube reviewer of "tactical" gear, "sheepdog and whatever else you want to say he is) posted a video in which he recommended a Chinese knockoff of the breathtaking Hinderer XM-18. I think that the recommendation was wrong because it was of a product made with stolen intellectual property. I'll be honest here and say that I do enjoy Nutnfancy's knife reviews, despite some stuff that rubs me the wrong way.
Because of my convictions about this subject, I responded to a comment that said something along the lines of: "This knife is bad because it was stolen from one of the greatest knife makers there is." I responded by saying something along the lines of: "Who gives a crap about from whom the information was stolen; it's wrong because something was stolen at all." BTW, I can't give an exact quote of my comment or the other person's because the video has been taken down. I thought no more of it, but when I checked the email connected to my youtube account, I saw that Nutnfancy himself had responded to my comment. I have a record of this because it was on my email and not youtube. So here I have a screenshot of what he said:

I think it's fairly easy to see what he says, but, in the interest of full clarity, he says, "Uh news flash...it happens all the time in the knife world. Their (sic) is constant copying of everyone's work with no attribution given...or licensing. Look around more. Happens here in YouTube too...lots. Is is right? No. You always vote wit..." It ends after that because gmail won't show the whole comment.
So I'm opening this up for interpretation/discussion. I think he's saying that, because copying happens a lot, it's ok to take advantage of it. That doesn't sound great to me.
I'm sure this won't interest many people, but, heck, it can't hurt to post it (first post by the way). Thanks.
