I would rate the LB& and the Buck 110 about even as far as quality and durablity but for me the Lb7 looks better because I believe the handle uses rosewood.

i have bought a few Buck 110s and a lot of LB7s on ebay, all used and no chance to examine them first. a crap shoot. everyone of the Schrades locks up tight, no blade play. some of the Bucks have play.
i also have 300, 500 and 700 series used Buck folders and in general they are looser and less snap than my used Schrade slippies.
2 possible explanations: Buck owners abuse their knives more; or, Schrade is better put together.
i know there are lots of Buck fans/collectors as attached to their knives as we are to Schrade, but for me they don't have the presence or "cachet" of Schrade knives and i think they are not of equal quality.
now, should i post this over in Buck Forum ? roland

Ive had about 40 to 50 LB7s, and alot of buck 110s in my experience the fit and finnish and lack of sideplay of the buck 110 is superior. I still like the Schrade LB7.

If you have a problem with a Buck knife, go to their forum. Mr. Buck and Mr. Houser are readily available there. I have found the Buck customer service to always to be polite and courteous.
A lot of the 300 series were contract knives, but I don't think that would be a problem for them. Schrade also farmed out work. As far as Schrade warranty work goes, I wouldn't know. " I'm sorry, I don't speak Chinese." - Chris Farley
