Comments from sale Spyderco Slysz Bowie

Did these come with mirror finish from the factory? Also I heard Sal plans on bringing these back into production. Is this true? How is the centering when closed? Thanks

Either way that definitely looks like a sharpened polished edge. Saying carried but never used or sharpened is misleading just because you may not have used or sharpened it. I hope spyderco does bring it back just to put a stop to this nonsense.

I sold it to another forum member. Not sure if he moved it along to someone else afterwards, so I can't say 100%, but comparing the pics, and even the scratch pattern in the stonewash around the pivot, I think it's the same example. But yeah, either way this is a mirror polished edge, not a stock edge.
 
He's refused to answer the questions about the sharpening job, and hasn't updated his post, just had the comments purged away. Super sketchy behavior.
 
Selling that knife for $600 as "unsharpened" has to be a recipe for negative feedback and/or a partial refund. Right?
