I recently saw the talonite Allen Blade Chipmonk on BladeArt, and fell in love with it.

Anyone got any remarks on it or any of his other work?

Go ahead and get it. You will not be disappointed.

Allen's Chipmunk is an impressive knife for the size. It sure cuts big. It has surprising heft for its size, yet it carries like it isn't there. His kydex sheath is fantastic work. It is a convertible system that can be carried as a neck knife, or worn on your belt.

Allen's knife-to-cash ratio is heavily weighted in the favor of the purchaser. You get alot for the money you pay. The Chipmunk is no different here. You can't go wrong with a Blade blade.

I would tell you about mine, but I don't have it yet. Only 7 years left on my wait

(yes, that was a joke. I joke around with allen about the knife in the chatroom at night. He is a really great guy. Never heard a bad thing about his knives. You won't regret buying one.

I have one in 1095 and love it. It's a great little carry knife, and the kydex work is excellent. I converted mine to horizontal carry, which allows for very discrete carry and easy access.

Though small, handle ergonomics still allow for secure grip, and the overall fit and finish are extremely tight.

I find myself wishing I had it in Talonite too.

Fantastic little knife! I have a pretty large collection and it's my favorite knife. Don't hesitate to get one. In fact, hurry and place your order before Allen decides to sell everything and become a monk. Hey, it could happen. Knife makers are serious people.

When a knife maker has the name Allen BLADE you gotta know his work is good.

Seriously, Allen makes a fine piece whether it be the Chipmunk or any of his other designs. Better get one while the gettin is good. The bang for the $$$ is great, but I gots me a feelin he won't be this inexpensive long.
