I was just wondering if anyone has any thoughts, good or bad, on the Cuda Jr. I
like the looks of it, and wondered what other people thought of it.

I had a left hand cuda jr. I felt that the openning mechanism was cumbersome and took up too much room in my pocket. I traded it for a left hand Benchmade striker. I find that the thumbstud linerlock or framelock is slimmer and just as easy to open. At $165.00 retail, I thought it too expensive. At the $89.00 internet price, its not a bad deal. The opening device is nice as a toy to play with but not my choice for everyday carry. But then again I like the higher end knives like the Sebenza and the Apogee and Tom Mayo's TNT.

I kinda like the Jr. and it's big brother also. The ones I've handled are way smooth opening, very fast, and lockup good. Yes, they do have a high "fun factor". Initially I was concerned about the integrity of the opening disc but have not had any troubles with mine. Got one right here in my desk drawer as I beat on the keyboard.
Regards,
Clyde

Thanks. One other thing-my dad's got a regular cuda with the black blade and its slick. however, the G-10 seems to have worn down slightly. It still grips good, but the texture isn't as grippy as it was before.

When Will left the studio, he had one knife less than what he came with. The left handed Cuda Jr. has been in my pocket ever since. Even though I photograph and purchase mainly custom knives I couldn't ask for a better knife for everyday use. Plus I enjoy watching right handed people stumble when I hand it to them.

Blademan,
Thanks for the interest! I believe you will like the CUDA Quick Action Jr. The smaller size is our best seller. The knife features a sout blade of ATS-34, hollow ground to a razor edge. The opening device is easy to use, and very fast. I believe you will be very happy.

Scott Dog,
With your tastes running to custom and semi custom knives like the Sebenza and Mayo TNT, you are a tough one to please! The opening button on the CUDA Quick Action is only .08" high and .5" in diameter. Much smaller than a dime laid flat on the side of the bolster! I find it makes an excellent "index point" for drawing the knife, and since it rotates, it presents itself nicely. But hey, I understand, I like my DDR folders also
