I have a PE I, and I wouldn't pry with it.
Actually, I wouldn't pry with any of my knives, except a few of the thicker fixed blades.
The great thing about the Pentagon Elites is the Arc-Lock. If you pull the lock back and give the slightest wrist flick, the blade just pops open. It's so easy I never even use the thumbstud. You can close the knife the same way. The thing locks up like a vault, although I think I've heard of some folks having faint side-to-side bladeplay. You can usually tighten the pivot to fix that, though. The handles are decent; I'd feel better about them if the liners (steel of some sort) were full rather than recessed. They will squeeze together a little without too much pressure, but still feel solid enough for my needs. The shape gives a great grip in a wide variety of positions. It's a solid knife overall, but if you're looking for a heavy-use folder you can use to pry with once in a while, you're going to have to spend a bit more money.
