Hi Guys,

I'm seriously cosidering the Buck Mayo TnT, but as I live in the United Kingdom it's almost impossible for me to check one out before I buy. My only option is to buy on the net.

Could you give your thoughts on this knife. Is it worth the price tag, what is the quality like, what is fit and finish like, does the clip work well, is it tip up or tip down carry etc.

Any information would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Tony

It's a nice knife, probably worth around $150 or so US. I don't know what your price would be. My biggest gripe was the "horns" on the top and bottom near the blade. Because the handle edges are conntoured, it gives th "horns" a thinner profile, and to me uncomfortable.

Someone on the Buck forum filed the tops ones away, that makes sense to me.

tony, it's a great knife. search the forums a lil - there's been lots of good stuff said about it. good heat-treat, good steel, great size, smooth, aesthetically pleasing.

I strongly recommend. oh, plus buck has great customer service.

I have been thinking about one also. 99% of the posts on them has been very favorable. The best price I saw was $170.

I think someone in Canada has a post selling one now for $130 + internat'l shipping.
