Just wanted to let you know that the ebay seller "firsina" is using my pics of my Tanto I and my Mk IV 28 Year Commemorative Knife, from my thread over here:

http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1419007-Some-Chris-Reeve-legacy-One-Piece-Knife

I find it a shame if sellers are stealing other peoples pictures for their commercial success. In Germany this is a severe violation of copyright. Don't know about the US. I wrote the seller about this unauthorized use and asked them to delete my pics from their adds. If you are considering to buy these knives, make sure that you get pics showing the actual knives for sale, instead of judging the condition of the knives by looking at my pics ..... which are not showing their knives for sale.

Wrong, but somewhat flattering to your photographic skills. I need not worry about such problems. No one in their right mind would ever use one of my photos.

Stefan, ask eBay if this violates their rules. They may make him take them down as a deceptive practice.

Thanks. Seems that they have taken the pics away from being the "master pics", shown in the search results. But at the Tanto I both pics are still part of their product description. So I will contact them again. I am closing this thread here, as there is nothing more to be added. Just wanted to make forumites over here to be careful with pics shown of this seller.
