Commercial series of knives...amazing buy

I bought couple of these knives with sheaths,boning and hunting knife,and all i can say is these are excellent buy all around knives that can be used for any kitchen,hunting and survival task,even self defense .Grinds are very good and practical,along with handles and sheaths,and krupp steel is good enough.Wish these were made in aus10 too.Thanx cold steel.These perform much better than most so called tacticals in practical use.

Budget bowie shaped blade based on commercial series with budget price would be amazing too,thickness and grinds like on a hunter but clip point.

They are 3/4 Tang. I like the Western Hunter.

These are knives made for cutting so 3/4 tang is not a problem,hope cs will make clip point version of these knives.Clip point would be perfect budget all around hunting,camping sd blade.

Have used german butcher knives for camping and hunting tasks many times and they never failed me,theyre all 3/4 tang,i dont baton with my blades,just cut stuff.

I think 3/4 tang is plenty tough. I have a 3/4 tang Mora that I have batoned with. The Kray-ex handle on the commercial series should be even stronger.

[Cold Steel Knives]

Just so we're clear and you can't say I didn't tell you so, the Commercial Series were made for skinning and butchering animals. Literally their one sole purpose. They are not for woodworking, camping, bashing on, batoning, processing wood, self defense, or anything else. They are ground like kitchen knives, very thin and sleek, polished for smoothness, grippy for wet bloody hands. Please do not be mistaken in thinking that this is anything like an SRK, Master Hunter or one of our tough outdoors knives. I'm sure they ARE capable of doing those things, but that's not what they were intended to do. These are meant to be on a magnetic strip in a butcher shop for filleting fish, boning chickens and other game, butchering ribs, things of this nature.

Dont worry,i use knives for cutting,not to bash on them,thats why i like thin ground blades,not pry bars.Good job on these ones,and make budget bowie version along these lines.
