Here's a Bowie that I have been wanting to make but being occupied with some orders, I have not had time to work on what I have on the drawing board. I am really concentrating on the basics of line and flow. Some of my drawings and resulting knives are going to reflect this as time goes by. This one has an 8 inch blade of my W pattern. The fittings are damascus and stainless along with sheep horn for the handle.

WOW!! I like that VERY much Lin. Great damascus pattern and the sheep horn looks very good with it.

Very beautiful - very nice with damascus and sheephorn - where do you buy sheephorn in such a good quality ? ( Is it Himalayan sheephorn ? )

As I mentioned before Lin, I think this is a terrific piece. Love the aggressive clip and the bold damascus pattern. I even really like the sheephorn here, and I'm not usually a fan of that material. Very well done.

Lin,

This is a real beauty, a combination of super damascus, integrated line, and aggressive attitude. Way to go. (and the sheep-horn works great, too.)

Beautiful knife, Lin! I really like that. I'm not a huge fan of sheeps horn, but it really works with the design and the steel! Excellent fit and finish goes without saying!

I'm a sucker for a big long clip on a broad bladed bowie. Functionally it reduces weight and makes the knife stabbier without compromising in any way the ability to chop and hack with serious intent. I also find it extremely pleasing aesthetically. The handle shape, meanwhile, complements that blade very nicely and is clearly purpose built as well. I can almost feel it, and it feels good :) Beautiful guard shape and accents as well. This is definitely one of my favorites of yours Lin. Really nice package all the way around.

Can't wait to see this one in the best bowie thread next week :D

There you go I just learnt something about a big long clip and very well said.... "Functionally it reduces weight and makes the knife stabbier without compromising in any way the ability to chop and hack with serious intent."

Beauty of a knife Lin!

Ok, where's the giant "Drooling" smilie when you need it? :)

LOVE everything about this one, Lin.
