People like em because there $15 and you can do just about any thing with em.....the kydex and other fancy add ons that probably cost two times as much as the knives are loved because you can just get a new knife every time and have a top notch sheath....

It's kinda like a 1022 people will spend $90 on a good stock, $200 for a barrel, and another 100 for a scope all for a $200 dollar rifle...

I meant everyone getting Kydex for THEIR knives.

Custom kydex sheaths are very easy to make compared to custom knives. Nice sheath with perfect fit for your knife and unique appearance for a very cheap price. You can get the materials for a few bucks and make your own sheath if you want, look it up on youtube if you're interested.

Moras are great knives, but aren't aesthetically pleasing to a great number of people. They're plain jane working knives, that come in a practical blade profiles and very ergonomic handles. I own a lot of fixed blades, an my Moras have a place regardless of the price. I don't see paying more for a sheath as the ones that come with the knives are generally more than serviceable, some though don't like thicker belts, but given the price of the knife you can't be too picky. They are what they are, nothing magical, but nice, utilitarian, working fixed blades. Even with a nice, semi-custom sheath you wouldn't be hurt as far as the price is concerned.

Screamin' razor sharp out of the box, decent usable no-nonsense sheath, <$15 to your door for a solid, 3/4 tang workhorse of a fixed blade. Not to mention if you lose it, it's minimal damage to replace it. Swedish steel is a great investment.

A Mora is the best $10 you will spend on a knife. Your collection looks more "tactical" which Mora's a definitely not. But get one, use it in the kitchen preparing food, feather a stick for a campfire, carve, cut and process wood. Baton with it, beat on it and just plain use it. Get one, You won't be disappointed.

No need to be rude and mildly insulting, I was merely injecting humour at the broad post title.

You need to take a deep breath and think before posting.

No. You need to take a deep breath and think before posting. The point of a post's title isn't to get the entire message's point across. The guy's new here and is likely new to forums in general, so your post was completely unwarranted. It would've been forgivable if it actually was funny or even clever, but it isn't.

Only thing unwarranted on this thread is your childish bickering.

If you to continue the Internet bravado take it to PM.

That's quite a collection you got there, OverUse. Knuckle knife, throwers...do I see a Mantis in there?!? It's cool. You're a 13 year old.

Here's my advice. If you are interested in having a collection of awesome tacti-bad-*ssery, you are on the right track. It's perfectly fine. People should collect what makes them happy. If you want to step things up a bit, check out Dark Ops or Brous Blades. Right in your wheelhouse.

If you want a higher knowledge of knives that whose primary function is to cut stuff, then you owe it to yourself to get a Mora and find out what the fuss is about them with so many people.
