Looking for a compact 5-6 inch fixed blade that can be had under $100 for all purpose camping/utility use. Needs to be sturdy, but under 11 inches overall (maybe even 10). In this size range an rc-5 or s1 would be ideal, but looking for a budget alternative. So far i've seen the benchmade csk ii, which looks good as well as the becker bk2 and ranger afghan, which are both pretty beefy. Any other recommendations? Larger mora type knives maybe?

you may want to look at the ontario gen II spec plus line of knives. the sp-46 in particular. it fit in with what you want.

There new large M.U.K for a 100.00. I have a Necessary Necker , which is a smaller version, and love it. Probably the best 100.00 you could spend. If I was not about to by a new pinpointer(Metal Detecting, my other hobby) I would have ordered one already tim
