compact chopper

Whats good blade forums? It sure has been a while. Im looking for a fixed blade that is good at small chopping jobs ( vines, small brush, branches) and is preferably carbon steel. The biggest consideration is the blade must be under 5.5 inches due to Texas knife laws.The knife will be used for day hikes, hunting, and camping. Thanks so much for helping.

Becker BK2 for a compact choppy knife. Not a "chopper," but still "choppy."

+1 on the BK2, if you're limited to 5.5" for a "chopper" you want as much weight as you can get, you could also look at the ESEE-5 if you want a Micarta handle.
