I almost always carry at least two knives. at the moment I am captivated by my Kershaw Bump so I carry it all the time. I see it as an all around good knife. The other knife I carry depends on where I am going. If I am in the woods, I like to have a large knife in case of animal attack (great excuse for carrying a big knife). If I am just doing the regular thing I carry a less expensive knife that I can destroy if necessary to save my other knife, like a CRKT M16-13, great knife for the price. Or if I am going to a dress up then out comes my BM 3100. Then there are those magic days when I get a new knife, then that one is my favorite knife for at least a few days so I can see how well it carries and works. But everyday is the same, so many great knives out there, of all the ones I own I would be seen as a mad man if I carried them all. So to look ok I keep it under three.

What is your excuse!

For what? Carrying more than one?

My Guitar teacher last year (retired old man, funny **** too! :D ) said "we're musicians, we can wear what ever the hell we want" (refering to a dress code thing at a show.) So I guess that includes knives.

The most knives I've ever carried was 2 folders, LM, and 1 fixed, just for fun at home. :D I played this game that really pissed off my mom.

1. grab all your knives, and put them on.
2. sit next to a person (preferably, your mother) and smile.
3. when the person looks at you say "want to play a game, it's a guessing game."
4. doesn't matter what the person says, then ask "Guess how many knives are one me!"
5. :D and run away.

I always seen to have at least two or three knives on me for edc. I always have a Vic soldier and a carbon steel work knife like a Case sodbuster or Opinel. Then in my watchpocket I'll have a small pen knife size blade like a Gerber microlight LST or a Al Mar ospry in stag or black lip pearl, or my very old Christy knife. On my key ring is a Vic Classic.

If I'm going out in the woods a fixed blade will be added like a Mora or a Grohman boat knife.

I used to do the one nice to look at/one nice to use thing, but now I've gone away from that. Anything that goes in my pocket gets used.

My EDC folder is almost always my Large Sebenza Meltdown, and if I need a fixed blade, it is my Rinaldi Enigma.
