I have seen a lot of pics of the ZT0200 as of late and it has me thinking that I need to take a more serious look at one. Can someone post some comparison pics between the two and tell me how they compare/contrast to one another? I have a 0560 now and I love it...am I missing out on something by not owning a ZT0200? Thank you in advance for your help.

My 0200 feels like my truck, big powerful solid and slow. The 056x feels like a sportscar vs. the 0200. It feels light and smooth, it may be powerful but doesn't overly feel it.

I have both and love both, so I'd say you're missing out if you don't get the 0200. It's just a heftier, more brutish knife. Blade deployment on the 0560 requires overcoming a more substantial detent, but once you do, the blade swings out faster than the 0200. The 0200's detent isn't as deep as the 0560, and it requires a little flick of the wrist to deploy the blade unless you're pointing the knife downward when you flip it open. Fit & finish on the 0200 is slightly better than the 0560 since you won't find any imperfections in the workmanship. IMO, the 0200 is the most underpriced knife on the market - and that's good for us.

Alright...so now I need to find a store that carries them in stock, so I can see for myself...maybe Dave will "loan" me one to compare and contrast on my own:D

The 560 flips better, has better steel (big fan of Elmax) and a Ti framelock (big fan of that too). The 0200 has a more robust pivot, a better hand-filling handle, and is less than half the cost of a 560 on the exchange.

After reading so much lately about the 0200 I decided to pick one up. Once my 0560 gets back I will let you guys know thoughts on comparison.

With Richard's rework the blades almost look identical. Why did you remove the thumbstud? Im guessing it's not used as a bladestop. Now it looks like a ZT/Spyderco collaboration.

I removed the thumbstud before sending the blade out to Richard, so it would be easier on him to do his work and not get in the way. When I got it back and put it back together, I decided it looked cooler without it, and I never use it anyway. I always use the flipper. It's quite easy to open it using the hole Spydie-style. I'm thinking I might grind out that point in the handle by the thumbhole, it sometimes gets in the way.

These are some good comparisons. I've had an 0200 since they came out and have carried it a lot. "Hand-filling" is exactly how I would describe it.
Since I don't have small hands my fingers do come back around the handle when gripping it but not enough to become intrusive in holding it.
154CM has held up nicely (although I give praise to many of the better points of Elmax). I carried knives of ATS-34 for almost a decade and 154CM is
close if not the same. You could say I got used to using/sharpening it over that time. 3-D machining still gets me. Seems a lot maybe don't understand
in what's involved in something like that. Very time consuming (even automated) compared to punching out slab handles. It adds so much to the knife
and the way that it is carried, maybe even more so than opening or blade material value.

I still haven't carried an 0560 yet. Still carrying so many others that I haven't had the chance to fully use. Soon.
