Compare Spyderco Swick with Colonel Blade Lo-Viz

Apart from the obvious differences of blade type, steel quality & options, what would make one better for self-defense? See, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0D34FVTKB?ref=ppx_pt2_dt_b_prod_image
Spyderco’s designs are well-thought-out and vetted by martial blade experts. They often take years honing and perfecting designs before releasing them. I have the Swick and it is exceptional. A knife this small usually does not feel secure in hand but the Swick does due to design choices and refinement. Plus, is you are carrying something against your body, LC200N is nice as it does not rust.

The Amazon knife does not look ergonomic to me. I suspect it does not have the thought and decades of experience of the Spyderco team to help with ergos. It’s cheaper, but if you want something on which to bet your life, absolutely go with the Swick.
