What can I expect? I recently ordered the ZT and have really liked the weight and ergos of the Endura. I have always wanted to try the S30v and a heavy built ZT, but price was a hindrance. I finally found both in one on sale in my price range.

You will find the 0350 to be quite different from the Endura - bigger, heavier, thicker, blockier, solidier and flippier.

You will find the endura different form th zt- lighter weight, thinner, stronger (due to the lock back), opening hole.

" solider" wtf?
It's short and stubby. The endura has a bigger handle and more ergonomic.

"Better" is almost completely subjective. Some guys will say one is better, some will say the other is better. Depends really on what you are doing with the knife, and most its just what you like. I would prefer the Endura, but I like its thin profile in my pocket, and I work on a computer all day. If you are more into the outdoors, or work on a construction site, or just like a little beefier more solid knife in your hand, then you might like the 0350 better. To peel an apple, I'd take the Endura. To pry up a manhole cover or hack through a concrete wall, the 0350. Its not really that simple, but it really just boils down to what you subjectively perfer to carry, fondle and use on a daily basis.

Yes, but does that mean its better?

the endura will be better at cutting things, and being unobtrusive in pocket. the zt will be better at feeling stronger, even if in practice they are both stronger than you will ever need.

the zt fills the hand slightly more, so could be more comfortable to some people. but they are still both folders and comfort is their weakest point compared to fixed blades (not strength, like many internet commandos try to say).

for a hard use construction knife or backpacking knife, endura all the way. for everything else, also the endura ;)

I work construction and I assure you that the endura is amazing. It amazes me almost daily. It's known for being a laser of a cutter. Comfortable in hand. Nice in pocket. Keeps an edge relatively well. Took a dive into drywall the other day and went deep. A testament to its cutting power.

Two completely different knives. The endura is a banana while the 0350 is more like an orange, therefore you are trying to compare bananas to oranges.

Truthfully, the endura is longer, slimmer and a better slicer while the 0350 is more like a stout tool you would use when finesse is not getting the job done.

depends. are you a spyderco or zt fanboy? i'm firmly in the zt camp, and yes i have spyderco knives. i like my knives overbuilt and super solid. then again carry a bk2 along with my zt350 most days too. i'd rather have too much knife and not need it most of the time, than not enough when it really counts.

They're pretty different knives. The Endura is a longer, more slender knife, versus the ZT0350, which has a thicker, chunkier feel. I actually like the ergos on the ZT0350 a bit more. The wider and slightly thicker handles fill the hand a bit better, so if you're going to be doing a lot of cutting or putting more weight into cuts, there is a little less hand fatigue. They are both fairly large knives and take up about the same amount of space in pocket. That said, I think the Endura carries a little better, although it is still pretty noticeable in pocket.

Blade-wise, they are both the same thickness, although due to the difference in grinds, the ZT retains more steel as you get towards the tip. The high flat grind on the ZT still slices pretty well, and it also has a large belly and slight recurve. The lockup on the ZT feels more solid, although both knives lock up plenty strong for a folding knife.

Thanks, I love my Endura. This is exactly what I wanted to know. Thanks too for the comparison pics on the grid, since I was really curious about differences in width of the handles. I appreciate the time all contributed in response to this request of mine! Saludos! :)

While certainly not impossible, the recurve 350 is harder to sharpen. I had one for a while and unlike some flippers it has a unique perk. The detent is great so if you don't like the "thwacky" jump (yes this thread is inventing new words) then you can remove the torsion bar and it still flips great!

I've always carried Spyderco knives and like you wanted to try out a Zero Tolerance. The 0350 was the obvious choice for obvious reasons. I was very pleased with every aspect of the 0350 except for the pocket clip and how wide the knife is when in your pocket. I traded the knife away for those same reasons. I have since splurged on a ZT 0561 and IMHO just save your money and get the ZT you really want.

I'll be checking it out soon, and probably will get the ZT I really want, but this is part of the path to finding out which one.
