Comparing 520 and 943...

They are both very good knives, I know that much. However, the 520 is more beefy, while the 943 is nice and svelte. Which one would be better as an EDC for an urbanite like me?
 
The 710HS a good compromise between beefy 520 and svelt 943.

It is truely up to you do you need the strenght of the 520 or will the cutting power of the 943 do for you? I use a 940D2CF (replaces my well loved 942S) in my EDC rotation and have no problem with it. It is a great knife with good cutting power and plenty of strenght. It's no 710HS but that is why I pack both so I have strenght and finess all rolled into one.

If you do not mind the added weight and bulk of the 520 by all mean get it it will be a better knife for hard work should that ever come up.
