Comparing Knives/Brands to Automobles

Okay, not sure if this thread has legs. But it seems to me that many knives are analogous to specific automobile models and makes in aesthetics/function/style/performance and the like.

For example, my Civivi knives remind me of Honda Civics. Functional, dependable, yet kinda boring with respect to aesthetics. A true utility-generating tool, but nothing sexy going on. I do love and respect them, each and every one: Chronic, Chevalier, Brazen, and Backlash. They have outstanding action and open at the drop of a hat, every time without fail. Yet, when I look at them sitting over there in my knife display, they remind me of a 1999 Civic. Still going strong and getting me from point to point in that unmistakable reliable yet bland fashion.

What about y'all? Any comparisons to make?

Some Mayo knives make me think of my metal pasta strainer and Olamics looks like the strainer after it’s been beaten, lit on fire, splashed with mud, thrown down a hill and then buffed. Maybe instead of cars a “Knives and Their Kitchen Counterparts” thread would be fun?

My Alan Davis is a one-off super car with Connolly leather interior, Bowers and Wilkins sound system, superb fit and finish, a 900 horsepower naturally aspirated V8, and 22" gold plated wheels.

My Spyderco Manix 2 CTS-XHP is a 97 Civic Si with a twin turbo 2.2 Prelude motor and a wings west body kit.

My GB1 is a 69 Chevy C10 with a 502 V8, Dana 44 axles, 4x4, A/T tires, and a little surface rust.

My Yojimbo 2 's blade equates to the result of a Pontiac Fiero rear ending a Ford Pinto.
