i was wondering how much better are the ar strider compared to the buck strider? are the bucks up to the custums.? i have a lg. buck already, but will the increase in price of a custum be worth upgrading my strider collection. also is there a chance of buck coming out with a sng model? thanks jack:D

The Buck Strider folders and the Strider AR are totally different.

The Strider AR has a larger, more ergonomic handle with a large blade choil that serves both for choking up for control and to protect the fingers in the event of a lock failure (remote chance). These features are not available on the Buck Strider.

The geometry, weight and size of the Strider AR has a serious advantage in cutting and chopping activities over the Buck/Strider especially when cutting large heavy items.

thanks sundsvall, i thought my buck had big handles. but i guess i need to see one in person. i dont suppose someone had one i could borrow for comparasion. hehe:D thanks again for the info.:)
