Sorry about the long winded video...

:D That is definitely a KNIFE.
The irony is that if it had a shorter (height wise) blade it would be a sword!

I see what you are saying!
Exactly!

:D I wanted the message to be clear.

Now that's a noife!

You can carry this in California as long as it isn't concealed, right... I may go just to videotape the response!

:DBordering on a sword ..... Nice knife.
Thanks!

I bet ol Blackbeard would have killed for that in his pirate days. That could chop someone in half!!!
He literally would have!

Blackbeard was a cool dude, who puts sparklers in their beard to scare people!

So, who's the lucky owner of that one? It's bigcountry1315, right?

Definitely a CHOPPA!

I was alerted by the authorities that this one is too big for Colorado so I'm shipping it overseas!

Thanks guys!

Shaymanx I can say for sure that is not my blade. That there is a whole lot of knife.Who ever gets that you will be able to tell if they use it a lot.The arm that swings that chopper will be twice as big as their other arm!!

Did someone say SWORD?? :)

Check this! I'm still saving my pennies to heat treat it, it's too big for even my kiln!

I also have a smaller one, the Wakichete and another waki in the plans. It is my oldest order... swords take a while, lol!

It looks straight but there is a bit of Sori or upward curvature ground in.

So, Daniel, what's next? Something like this?

Exactly! That is awesome! I'd grind that to a zero bevel... :D

Cool!
Daniel- a 12" traditional Tanto would be cool too or a 9" Aikuchi.
A wakizashi too, of course.
And then a Katana.
