Comparison of the SFNO and SJ TAC?

Has anyone compared these two blades in a real test?

It looks like the SFNO is the more robust (wider blade) model while the SJ TAC is a lighter and faster utility model.

I really like the look of the SJ-TAC but would need to justify it since I already have a SFNO.

Thanks for the help.

I have both knives, and alternate between them around the farm and when I go hiking.

The SJ TAC is a true mid sized knife: a jack-of-all-trades, but master of none. The SFNO is just a bit big to be mid sized, and just a bit small to be a large go heavy knife.

The SJ TAC seems to be better for day-to-day tasks like food prep, farm work, and a bit of rough whittling.

I thought the SFNO would be the ultimate versatile Busse, until I got the SJ TAC.

Now, if push came to shove, I’d pick the SJ out of the two.
