Hello gents and ladies,
I'm in the market to purchase a new hard use outdoor blade to replace my RMD and I can't seem to decide exactly which one I want. This will be a frequently used blade that I will depend on, on many occasions, so there's no doubt that I'll be going with another Busse or Swamp Rat. The question is..........which one?
I've seen pictures of each of these knives, but I would really love to see a side by side comparison of the knives, so I can get a better idea of differences in length, handle size, and blade thickness.
At first, I thought that it would be difficult to find a Busse & Co. collector who would have all of these, but then I realized that was crazy. There's probably a dozen guys on here who have all of these.
So, I would be extremely grateful if someone could post a photo with the following blades laying side by side. The main knife I am comparing to is the RMD, as that is what I currently own:
Swamp Rat RatManDu ( preferably bowie point, but standard point is fine )
Satin Jack Tac -- ( really like the SJTACLE, but any model is fine )
Hell Razor -- I've recently become interested in this blade, but really have no idea how it compares size-wise to the above two
JackHammer -- I just saw this blade for the first time in a sales thread, so I'm assuming they are fairly rare and don't come up for sale often. I really love this blade. ( the SJTAC-LE and this one are probably my two first choices )
SARGE-7 -- I know this is a very different style of knife, but I have never seen one in person and would like to see it compared to a knife that I'm familiar with

Also, if you have any of the bottom four knives and would like to tell me why you prefer one or the other, I'd love to hear what other Busse collectors have to say. I currently have a NMFBM, a NMFSH-LE, a RMD-LE, and I'm in the process of tying to get a Street Scrapper 4 and a Leaner Meaner. The RMD has pretty much seen its last days and will be sold soon, so this knife will basically fill the 4 1/2 inch to 8 inch slot. If I decide to stick with the RMD, I will end up ordering it from the SR Custom Shop and get a FFG Bowie Point Double-Cut Black Micarta. I know I cant go wrong with that beauty, and may end up getting it anyway, but I'm just trying to decide if I would like one of the others first.
