Comparison Pics Request

Hey y'all,

Wow, been a long time since I logged in! Been checkin in' from time to time though!

So I'm torn between the KE Bushie and the Hiking Buddy. (I also have this continuous itch for a bushcraft Karda that I'll probably indulge in)....

Anybody with experience using either, comparison pics, and/or specs would be most helpful! :)

No side by side pics since I didn't have them at the same time but I had a K.E. Bushie that I gifted to a friend and I currently have a Hiking Buddy that I've had for about 7 months. Both are excellent bushcraft knives. The K.E. B is bigger than the HB but both are both capable knives and the Hiking Buddy has done everything I've ask of it.

Here you go Joe. Sorry for the delay but I was away camping at up at Lake Okeechobee for a 3 day weekend and just got back. I forgot my BC so I did all my fire prep/batoning with my Hiking Buddy and it came through like a champ. I like to carry the HB due to size, but I would have preferred the KE Bushy this weekend... ;)

As you can see the HB worked just great. My suggestion, get both! Hope that helps...

Hey no problem, glad I could help. Both really are great knives with great ergos.

The luck in the friendship is definitely a two way street. Chris has been very helpful to me , and is a great guy in general.

Great pics, as I said before the H.B. is a very capable little knife. It would have to be pretty cold before I started feeling under-knifed carrying only the Hiking Buddy.

Andy was kind enough to find me a hiking buddy! Can't wait till it arrives! Will post pics soon!
