Can anyone with a 3" XM 18 please possibly post pics of it next to either a ZT 0550/0551 or a CRKT Ripple so I might be able to get a feel for its size? I ask about those 2 specific knives as I own those and can get a good feel for the size of the 3" so I could make a decision of if I want to purchase that or wait for one of the bigger sizes. Thanks in advance guys

I cannot.

But I can show something to possibly help. 3" scale atop XM 3.5", ZT 0550.

As usual, Great help from N2K. I will attempt when I get home to shoot some pics as well. I do not think I own the specific reference knives you mention but I know I have some Spydercos (names escape me) and some other Kershaws and stuff like that.
Just as an editorial comment, I see you reside in the sunshine state. I assume you don a lighter wardrobe as a matter of normal course. Unless you are an unusually large human, I believe you would like the 3". I like ALL Hinderers but I go from 90 degrees to 20 below and everything in between.

I'll help you out if the Postman is good to me today!

Need2Know that blue Ti scale should look sweet! I've got a stonewashed one waiting for mine. It's crazy how small the 3" scale is compared to the 24. The XM-24 Ti scale is twice the scale!

Indeed. Anticipate your pics.

Here is the little 3" scale atop my loved so much it brings the hate ; ) 24.

I don't have the mentioned knives for comparison but heres a 3 inch next to a large Sebenza and an SMF.

Man the 3" looks to be smaller than I thought. Thanks for the pics guys and keep em coming. Rubi this will mostly be a work knife and also fall into my off duty rotation as well.

In that case, 3.5" Spanto (I prefer flipper)

But
As promised....

Instead of making a new thread... I'll hijack this one! :D Could anyone provide me with a Spyderco Sage/XM-18 3.5" comparison?(Even better if you can line up all the XM's next to the Sage!)

Nobody? :(

I have Delica, Endura and Manix2 models, no sage.
I also have a lady bug somewhere, but that won't help.
I can set a Gen 3 or 4 3.5 next to these, but that's as close to your request as I can get.

I don't even know what the Spyderco in my Pic is. I actually would have guessed Sage if asked.

I have an older Delica like yours, Rubi. Stainless handle.

It is full serrated and beat to hell. Broken and chipped all over, not photo-worthy by any means. I reprofiled the lost tip to a more rounded nose and often pocket it while swimming.

Thank you Guys - Delica II (I will make a mental note) which I will forget but can come back here and re-read this If I remember what thread. In which case I will - Ask you guys:)

This Delica II of mine is without a doubt the scariest sharp knife out of the box I have ever felt.
I keep it because it strikes me as a classic old school SS knife. No Frills, just a really really sharp knife.
