Can anybody compare Swisstech x Sebertech x SquirtP4 x Clutch?

Thank you very much in advance.

I don't have enough experience with all of them but have used the Swisstech and the Squirt extensively. Although they are similar they serve different uses for me. The Swisstech is more compact so it is my backup to the backup that is clipped to my gear. Mine is older design without the smaller drivers. This makes it slightly less useful but much sturdier. IMO the P4 is better made to tighter tolerances but might be a bit less sturdy. It also is just a bit larger. This moves it from mini backup to true pocket tool for my uses. So in closing give the nod in usefulness to the P4, but the Swisstech is more convenient and has less to break or go wrong.

I have these tools except for the Clutch model. The SwissTech is solid but I don't like the screw drivers. They don't stay in the screws well compared to the others. Sebertech M4 is the best built and is a quality tool, but the blades are hard to get out of the carry position. But, on the other hand, they lock securely. The P4 is the most fun to fool around with when bored, I like the way it snaps open for use. It's pliers are on par with the Sebertech. If the P4 had a real Phillips driver like the Sebertech it would be the best choice in my opinion.
Probably not much help, but my views anyway.
Good Luck!

I have the P4 and SerberM4, both sitting right here, actually.
P4 is on the keyring, daily. I agree the pliers themselves are about the same, but, you gotta give an edge to P4 due to the return spring.

Serber is flatter, so, in the pocket it may be a little more comfy.

The straight blade on the P4 is a little more substantial than the Serber, neither is gonna fell a tree. The Serber blades lock into position, so they get a little edge over P4 which do not lock when open.

Both are good tools in their own right.

I have the Swisstech and the Squirt P4. I used to have a Sebertech. Know next to nothing about the Clutch.

I had problems with the handles of the Sebertech opening in my pocket. Next, the SwissTech. Much less trouble with the handles opening in my pocket. Next, the Squirt. Handles much more comfortable and do not come open accidentally. I like the longer nose pliers on the Squirt better, Leatherman pliers are always nice. It is prettier and the tiny file is kind of nice. As a stand alone multitool it is the winner, but

My recommendation: The SwissTech. Much less costly then the Squirt. It is more compact and more scratch resistant than the Squirt, making it great for keychain and pocket use. It has no knife blade and I have taken it through airport security with my keys. Get the one without extra tools and get a small SAK like the Soldier, Cadet, Bantam, etc. to go with it.
