Compartment on knife handle_

Hi, was thinking on making a compartment on my knife handle, are there any pictures or ideas i can take a look at for ideas to make it easyer for me to succede?

There is another one that has a skeleton handle with bolts that holds small items. If it was big enough you could carve out some of the handle as well and hold larger objects.

Yeah, something like that, has to be someone done that on a custom knife, the biggest issue is to what screws/bolts i should use, want something that is secure but also easy to loosen with maby a leatherman or other smal multitool or "key chain style" tool.

What kind of bolt did you use for that?

chicago screws would work. ESEE uses two screws into a threaded barrel for the hest. lot of people use coins or flat washers to open 'em up.

I used a single barrel in the enter with 4-40 flat head screws. On the ends are 1/8 dowel pins for alignment.

Ok, what are your experience on this handle, does it hold up on hard use, does the screw keep tight or does it loosen with hard use?

Also, what are you compartmentising..diamonds and gold =)
