Here's one for the ladies!!!

But ANYONE can participate. :D

If you are a lady - tell me what you would use this knife for...

If you are "attached" to a lady friend...:D  :p....tell us what you think SHE would want this for...

Here we go!

K-TUSK1114-01.jpg

K-TUSK in S30V, 7" overall, 3" blade
Pink G10 w/ black liners, aluminum corby bolts
Winner's Choice of kydex or leather sheath

I will draw a random number from all the posts here and declare a winner!

CONTEST RULES

1 - the winner must be of the feminine persuasion (but you are welcome to "nominate" your prefered female if she doesn't post here :D)

2 - the winner agrees to post an "in-use" pic (can be "anonymous" - hands only, etc - ok with me!)

Ok, that should be good enough.

Let's hear from the ladies out there...

Anyone Want A Free Knife ?

:D

Thanks!

Dan

I'd like my mom to have one in her purse so she would
a. have some kind of protection
b. stop using my randall to cut twist-ties
c. open packages of food with something other than the hair-cutting shears and getting little hairs in our dinner.

I called the wife and she says:

"That would be perfect for me because I'm a little lady with little hands, and that's a smaller knife. It'd sure be a step up from my Mora :)"

She'd probably end up teklok'ing this to the shoulder strap of her pack.

Um! As long the wife does not find out about my latest purchase from you (well, she knows, just not all of the detail$); I don't think she will need it, I HOPE! Reason #1 (if she found out all the detail$)

Seriously though it would be a great knife for her to carry since I am out of town/country sometimes on job-sites and she could carry it or attach it to one of the horses saddles when she takes the little one trail riding. Plus she wouldn't lose it with that nice color (I would hope), it is kind of an anti-camouflage!

That way hers could be hers and mine could be mine :foot: I mean hers,too...:(

Dan- SWMBO is absolutely right! (had to look that one up) I just need to make sure I enunciate it if I say it around her, don't want to be misunderstood, you know! Then that would give her Reason #2!:eek:

That's CUTE!
My Wife would use it to slit my throat if she ever found out what I spend on cutlery:cool::cool:

OMG, i love it, and i want it, i have big camping trip planned for summer. im sure id find a use for it.

My wife would use it as a fixed edc for camping. She refused to carry fixed but this would sway her. She's going up to the North Woods this weekend come to think of it.

My daughter (who is nine and bugging me to buy her a knife) would use it as a fashion accessory since it matches every item of clothing in her closet. :D She has 4 brothers. She is the princess...until the next one comes....

I've been trying to convince my wife that she needs some sort of fixed blade for her job at a wholesale greenhouse. SO, if she were to have such a knife, she would probably use it for opening up bales of soil while making pots, cutting shrink-wrap off pallets, deadheading tougher plants, possibly for dividing smaller plants (though she has a huge-ass kershaw for that), and possibly cutting sandwiches in half at lunch time.

Also, though I've been trying to train her, it could possibly be used as an improvised lightweight prybar. :o

I am afraid my wife would use it as a "motivational tool" on me...

My 8 yr old little girl will have a fit- she has pink everything... camera, phone, skates-- she wanted pink catchers gear but purple was the closest I could find..

I showed this to my wife, first of all she is nuts about anything pink. I jokingly said you could shave your legs with that and she said, "If that is what it takes to win it and make a picture, I'll do it" However she would use this camping and hiking which we do a good bit of.

I think it would be a perfect addition to my little girls outdoor gear.....should fit perfectly with her pink knife and pink rifle.

She likes leather.;);)

I'm sure THAT's a blade Emos could definitely cut themselves with :D (I have a few Emo friends by the way ;) )

By the way, does this mean you're making a batch of K-Tusk in S30V? ;)

My 8 y/o daughter Sophia has expressed an interest in getting her own knife. Mine are too big for her to carry comfortably. She was very specific in that it had to look cool and that it had to have a pink handle. Now that she is hiking with me on a regular basis I think getting her her own knife would be a great idea. She already knows how to whittle, make fuzz sticks, and construct a lean-too. The other day she made her first fire using a ferro rod. Not bad for 8 years old! As she gets older she will have a wide array of knives to use in her outings but something that is specifically for her would "tickle her pink".

Thanks for the contest, Dan. :)

Hi Dan,

I showed this one to my wife and she said that she would cut open baby wipes, diapers, and that it would go well with her Spyderco Cricket and Tom Krein Micro Chef.

I am very fortunate in many ways... :)

Thats a great looking knife.

It would match my girlfriends pink little swiss army knife. I've been wanting to get her a bigger blade for when we go hiking and camping. I bet she could figure out a few more uses for it though.

Great looking knife, Dan. My wife would carry that blade on her 40 minute commute to work. In her brief case, of course. Thanks for the contest!!

My wife would use it for opening boxes at home, but she would probably like to have it when we are camping.
