Calling all INFI dimples! Let's get a thread together of the different CF blades out there, used or not. It seems almost everybody likes satin, and many like dcbb, but the third non-coated factory option, Competition Finish or CF, seems to be the rarest offering. It is also the cheapest non-coated finish option, yet extremely user friendly as it doesn't really show scratches like the satin or dcbb.

Great thread. I need to send my CGFBM in for a CF job. If a TGLB is in my future, that will be CF.

Nice, just got my CGFBM and BATAC back from the custom shop where they did the competition finish for me. I'll try to get some pics up later today!

Went home and took pics! Also, as a shameless plug for my FS thread, I did just list these in the Busse-For-Sale forum:

Awesome pics guys, let's keep them coming. Still haven't seen a CF BWM in here yet.

BM11, you're gonna miss those when they are gone. ;)

This reminds me that I still need to track down a CF SARsquatch. :p

I haven't found any down sides to the CF, it does everything satin or dcbb will do, cheaper, and without showing scratches after you are done using it. Best user finish, IMO.

Ahh ok. I was wondering if there was a greater chance of small rust-spots building up unnoticed in the little dimples.

I was wondering the same thing. Is it better to get a CF finish from the shop or strip a coated blade?
