What are the measurements on length and weight requirements for a thrower to be used for the competition matches. How many throws are made? What is the distance? What is everybody's favorite thrower?

That was very a informative link, thank you ...but you never said what your favorite thrower was:D

Bobby, as a throwing knife maker, of course will say his knives are the best. He is right. I own at least 10 Branton's and use a set of 4 Branton's for competition throwing.

But do not let his reply lead you astray. Bobby has an extensive collection (i.e. the world's only throwing knife museum) of throwing knives. He knows what a good knife is and can sniff out the garbage knives in a heartbeat.

I have repeatedly seen his praise for other knife makers and their products, a mark of someone who appreciates the art for what it is as well as what it can generate.

He asked what my favorite throwers were and I said mine.
Now, if he wants to know who makes good ,quality throwers I will say Tru Bal Knives, Lee Fuggat, Dan Dennehey, Jeff Koch to name a few.;) :D

Oh yeah, I forgot about Jeff Koch and I was visiting his website just today. He sure has a fresh approach to knife design for throwers.
