In the quest to find out information about axes, I traveled to the Southeast Stihl TImbersports qualifying rounds and learned about the world of competition axes. Boy do those guys know their stuff. I learned more about grinds, sharpening, and technique then I ever thought possible.

Informative, thanks for posting.
I was hoping to see some axes and some action.

Sorry, but I didn't have time to stay for the actual competition as I came down three hours just to shoot that and was leaving for Belize that night.. You can go on the links we said at the end, and get 20 minutes of action and how to though.
