Competitive throwing ax

At several showings of my work there has been a few people asking me if I did competitive throwing axes so I went ahead and did one. Should have gone with a hickory haft but went with curley maple since thats what I had. The head is 6" with a 4" cutting edge. Haft is 20" long. Hope you like it.

That's a real nice piece Ray. I have always been somewhat fascinated with axes, hatchets and hawks and I like this one.

By my guestimacation, it's about 7" long, but it does look all growed up, Ray.

Howie, Actually the haft is just under 6". Its a real hand full!
