  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

I recently posted a review of the Victorinox Classic pocket knife, I am upset that a moderator chose to close the thread because the knife had been around for a long time and could be bought for under $20 ( both true ). However new people are joining the knife community all the time and may not be aware of the knives that are available, new or otherwise.
I don’t think the thread should have been closed and I think the moderator in question needs to reopen the thread to those new people who want to watch a review of a knife they might be considering purchasing.
Thank you

Take it up with the staff using proper channels, and most importantly, read the site rules.......

Perhaps knarfeng knarfeng would prefer to close your account here, instead of your thread?

His comments from your closed thread are completely valid -

"Why would anyone watch a review of a knife which has been around for decades and which can be purchased for less than $20?
The comments have been indicative of this."

Read what the mod said about your orher "review". Bladeforums is not here for you to drive clicks to your youboob channel. Try doing an actual review meant for people to appreciate here.

I don't know. A well written review with lots of pictures and descriptions of a SAK classic in use could be neat.

Just dumping a youboob link, not so much.

BladeForums does not exist to round up viewers to your YouTube Channel. This is obviously what you are doing, considering that you have set the link so that viewers MUST go to YouTube to watch it.

You can illustrate a written review with a video posted on YouTube. But to just post a video link is not a happening thing.
